part of the reason you may like those lines is cuz the beginning part is taken/flipped from Biggie on “Everyday Struggle” lol he tends to do that how Hov use to

ima spin this album a lil later today again when i pick up some bud and see if my mind changes

Yo you right, hah I didn't even peep that :ehh:.

I fukk with the lo line though, it's a dope double, should of finished the bar instead of sat in the middle to be honest.

Skyzoo’s voice is annoying to me.
I don’t understand most of his lyrics.
I like his flow though.
It seems he is trying to be witty and abstract and it doesn’t always connect for me. Some of the lines are dope. He reminds me of Lupe in a way.

richie is just crazy yall. my favorite joint on the album with it's all good a close second, glorious is brazy too but i could have done without the long ass intro smh. anyway these brothers make a helluva team man. pete's adlib game has always been that crack but i really enjoyed when he did it on this LP

say word lupe? oh ok, in terms of density or do you consider them to be on the same level lyrically?

yeah even though i actually love sky's voice & artistic approach i do admit he can be very hot & cold at times. you ever heard his joint called Theo vs. JJ though? he freaked a very interesting concept on that one & was blackin with the verbals. it might be up your alley if you ever have some spare time on your hands or whatever

You don’t like Eastern conference All Stars?

As for Skyzoo, I think he goes for complexity with the wordplay to his detriment. It’s a weakness. It’s my biggest complaint with Lupe. He’s nowhere near as bad with Lupe.

Obviously there are a lot of people out there who love that type of style.

This is the first Skyzoo project I really like I think. Them beats :wow: dude has a dope way of rhyming too, on my first real listen so too early to really say something about his pen game. But unlike earlier works it holds my attention and get's me listening to what dude is saying.

He's your quintessential "real hiphop" rapper that's actually really boring to listen to

its weird in a way...I wouldnt say he is boring to listen to but for me its like...I can listen to a new album of his straight for like a week and then be tired or worn from it....put it up come back a couple months and love it all over again. its like you need a break through his projects.

Theo vs JJ has to be classified as a mixtape that was actually an album. I also added on the 4 songs from Band Practice (which came out around 6 months later) to my version to give it a full 16 track album feel. ("Phone Calls" was produced by Madlib) If anyone wants me to up it lemme know.

oh eastern conference all stars is poppin, no doubt

not much of a lupe fan huh? aight then. noticed you ain't too big on mach hommy either. how do you feel about rappers like camp lo, digable & de la soul? not exactly cut from the same cloth as skyzoo, lupe & hommy but similar in terms of the abstract stream of consciousness dense rap
