I read his review...I respect the dude's opinion on a lot of things when it comes to hip-hop. But when it comes to Slaughterhouse that nikka is really TOO critical on them. Especially when it comes to Joe Budden. That review was nothing more then a bunch of back handed compliments. To be honest I'm not that surprised about Royce and Joe Budden reacting the way they did. Dude has been known to send their asses a buch of "You need to spit better" type tweets to them.

I'd feel the same way on some "Who the fukk is u?" type shyt..

I remember his ass going on a all day rant about that I See Dead People freestyle wasn't mixed right. :what:

Review is saying what many been saying for awhile. SH didn't revive lyrics or anything. There's been plenty of great hip hop over the last couple years, and it has made them nikkas completely irrelevant. Kendrick, Bronson, KRIT, Esquire, Danny Brown, J Cole and others are killin shyt right now. Even on the more mainstream level Drake is rapping better than most of the mainstream shyt that was dominating when SH first came out.

All they do is rap about being able to rap, while sending subliminal shots hoping someone will catch feelings. Oh, a mixture of bad attempts at making singles and the traditional "sad ghetto story" shyt that they don't do well either. I haven't heard the new album, I'm sure it's a mixture of average to dope tracks and a bunch of bad similes, corny pop songs, and forced Em tracks.

:mindblown: then WHY make an opinion if you haven't heard it?..

Why are you wasting your time defending these bums in every thread? They didnt respect or care enough about you as a fan to even attempt to give you a quality album so you shouldnt give a fukk about them either. You know as well as everyone else does that this album is :trash: so let them fade into irrelevance like they deserve.

The album was not that bad, I kept a handful of tracks off it.
Yeah, there were corny pop songs, forced chemistry, and the recurring reminder that they were "the lyrical saviors of hip hop", but you can get past that if you're not an intolerant fakkit :jawalrus:

I haven't bothered listening to the album as I've heard enough bad reviews on here plus their debut was disappointing to me. I'm liking the On the House mixtape though. For them to catch feelings about this review is pathetic. Anyone who can't take constructive criticism shouldn't be an artist.

On another note, Budden got a lotta nerve threatening people after Raekwon and company yanked his skirt and he did nothing except show off his black eye like it was a badge of honor, like that's wsup. Now he's talking greasy on a music critic. I like Buddens too, like Royce, like the whole crew, but if they made a dud all the while knowing it was gonna alienate some folks, they shouldn't act surprised and toss empy threats at people. And real talk, it's hard to take anybody in their crew seriously on some tough guy shyt. We don't believe your emo ass Budden. We don't believe your alcoholic ass Royce.

*waits for Walt to make a mentally abusive yet funny post*

I can only hope this reviewer has multiple bullet proof vests, an island hideout, and 4 Samoan bodyguards. When a notorious punching bag who has been getting his ass whipped all his life, got lumped and then forced to apologize on camera, and hasn't won any fights except against his girlfriends and their unborn fetuses makes a threat against you, you've got to take serious precautions.

This album is hot garbage for real, but it's amazing the bandwagon hate that spreads virally when more than a few people decide something sucks. :deadhorse:

It's like everybody taking turns explaining in scientific detail how horrible an album/movie/etc is, but really just trying to boost their own SEO profile by shytting on famous people.

Sucks for the celebrity I guess, but that's the business in 2012. Bunch of vultures eating off the remains of what used to be your career.

Slaughterhouse emcees whupping some reviewers ass would be the essence of "The Real Hip Hop" tho, lol. shyt like that used to go down all the time.

Too bad they telegraphed their shyt on Twitter already :shaq2:
