I know Rick owns properties in real life, so he can relate, but it woulda been dope if he had a verse showing the other perspective from the tenants dealing with slum lords.
Nah He a rich 60 year old with good credit and a diversified portfolio
:mjlol:
This how he keeping it real and making inspired hiphop.

This is dope. The beats are simple but they do have his signature sound and Rick is great at making these concept / story songs come off well.

Maybe if it had slicker production there would be more raves about the album, but if you're a fan you shouldn't be disappointed. This sits with his other albums very nicely.

Just finished listening to it, I gotta listen again now because before you know it the albums ends lol

He’s spitting effortlessly as always on here though

Crazy he’s 60 and hasn’t lost a step

The beats are rooted in 80’s/90’s hip hop and dance

Some beats remind me of The Ruler’s Back beats
Yeah Landlord is the standout. Fun Fact the first Hip Hop album I copped with my own money was TGAOSR. Hearing "Indian Girl" at 10 was crazy.
