This is dope. The beats are simple but they do have his signature sound and Rick is great at making these concept / story songs come off well.
Maybe if it had slicker production there would be more raves about the album, but if you're a fan you shouldn't be disappointed. This sits with his other albums very nicely.

Yeah Landlord is the standout. Fun Fact the first Hip Hop album I copped with my own money was TGAOSR. Hearing "Indian Girl" at 10 was crazy.

Great on first listen. Still sounds sharp as ever, a lot of our legends voices and cadences are getting worse, but not slick. His voice literally still sounds like 88

Indian Girl is a wild track to listen to in 2025, no major label would let you put that out now. Same with the less known sequel Tonto from The Ruler's Back
