Thanks. I don't use Spotify but my Apple account never recognizes the VPN change. Usually I can get stuff early on Youtube by switching to NZ but not seeing it there. All good though, been waiting on this for 25 years, can wait another eight hours.

The closest comparison I can give is the Black Star/Madlib album we finally got 2 years ago. Long wait, grateful for anything, but a deliberately minimalist approach...

My biggest initial concern was the production and I like what he did here. It works

Yeah, it's cool, Rick is in my top 5, I'll never hate on him. But, I expected a little more. If there were four or five Landlords, I'd be more than happy.

Yeah that's the standout easily. I like every song, but it's the way everything feels like a snippet... The way the album ends actually made me LOL and I'm curious what the visual will be

Yea they really pulled out all the stops for Slick Rick. This is truly an impressive marketing campaign by Mass Appeal

The rapping on that was the opposite of this, not engaging at all

I don't think it's mid. He still sounds timeless and the production suits perfectly. It's just really short with no real structure
