He has a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine that just came out and in it, they say he has a vault of over 300 beats he’s produced.
Just talked about this album again recently.
I liked it, but it was mad short. For as long as we waited for it, I would've liked more tracks. But Rick sounded exactly the way he did 30 years ago, to me. So that was dope! I think it was good project, but just one of those albums that I probably don't play enough. I need to throw it on way more.
I thought it was solid. A bit too short but I thought Ricky sounded good. Wish there was some more story joints but i loved Landlord.

Straightforward boom-bap with jazzy/soulful samples. Clean mix and nice drums
Nothing crazy but it works. I wanna hear the rest of those beats!
Cabin In The Sky being released made me listen less to Victory but it's still only those 2 albums from the run that got more than 1 listen. And both have got at least a dozen full play throughs with no skips or cherry picking tracks.Still listening to this album
Yeah the songs could be longer but it’s Slick Rick
Even 30 seconds of Slick Rick is better than everyone else’s shyt

After hearing the Raekwon & GFK albums I knew De La was the only one that would fight for the top spot with Victory for me, and it didn't disappoint.I understand
Cabin is a great album as well.

I think a lot of the criticisms on Victory are really invalid. A lot of people forget it was first and foremost a visual album. Mass Appeal really fumbled the release by having the audio widely available before the film. I get that they were taking it around a few film festivals first but it really killed the hype for me. Not having the album as originally intended, promoted on day of release was so disappointing.
Fingers crossed he does.Yeah
De La are have remained pretty consistent so I knew they’d deliver a great album
True. I hope Slick releases some more music. I wanted hear those 300 something beats he’s got in a vault that he mentioned in a recent Rolling Stone interview
