Agreed, and I think the 3 things you mentioned above were big factors. Sway wasn’t a good host either, the whole thing just felt too “corporate”
That said being there live was still fun as hell.
Word, you had Sway hosting and also Kay Slay in the cut doing nothing which was awkward as fukk

Though I know it had to be lit being there and they had some baddies in attendance too.
With that said I feel it would be good if they can figure out a way to make battle rap more mainstream without messing it up. I'm not sure it's possible but maybe someone will figure it out. 106 and Park was close cause it was on TV and had some good battles but still I feel it can be done on a bigger level then that like what Total Slaughter was trying to do.
