Review of the night

Trez Suge was meh, idk who won have to rewatch.

Brizz Ill was ok, Brizz had some moments, he won I have to rewatch to call it by round.

Nitty T Top was real good. IMO Nitty left earth in his second, just insane. Nitty 2-1

T Top had moment of the night with the tech nine bar.

Twork was pretty good until the altercation. Twork won by default to me. John John wasn't the best but had some lines.

Roc and Shine was alright, it still sounds like twork is writing for or shine is copying tworks style to me on certain bars. I got Roc 2-1

Cassidy got 3'0d in a predictable manner. While Goodz doesnt have crazy bars like that, his approach, angles, delivery, projection, presence, crowd control, and pacing are what did cass in. Cass also spit some pretty dated sounding lines. I know snuggle up in a bag aint super lyrical either but overall Goodz has more positive attributes.

cant hate on goodz for controlling the crowd. shyt is about more than just spitting. that's what all these url nikkas been saying to cass since he started talking crazy a couple months back.

He lost them because of Goodz. Goodz sounds so much better on stage. You listen to Goodz battle in comparison to Cas. Cas doesn’t sound up to date. Once you hear Goodz, and then go back to Cas, it’s like nah.

I’m telling y’all, if Mook/aye verb happened in the south, Mook would have got booed the whole battle.

What’s crazy is I wouldn’t be surprised by this... I wouldn’t argue that mook beat verb. I got verb winning and I got goodz winning but crowd reaction aside, I can see the argument.

I only predicted him because I wanted him to win not cause I thought he had a chance lol. I wanted more interviews of him talking crazy.

It’s unfortunate. He’s an entertainer that battle rap needs.

He has some tools to work with to be a good battler in this era, but there’s no way someone of his status would ever battle multiple times to sharpen his skills.

Industry guys that choose to battle are in a tough spot. In reality, they should be facing a pg nygga, and these pg nyggas come to the URL with experience battling on smaller leagues.

However, no promoter is going to pay someone like Cassidy to battle some pg nygga. Therefore, you get Cassidy against a top tier battler and he proceeds to get slaughtered. If he chooses to battle again, he demands so much money, that it would be against yet another top tier guy. It’s just not a way to really develop as a battler. Industry guys are just thrown into the fire, but they get paid so it’s whatever.

I don't know how Cass won 2-1 but I'll watch it again whenever it comes on YouTube. For me Cass was dribbling too much to take his shot like whatever he was saying about "You ever have a girl with a camel toe on a camel's back?" I don't remember him having any crazy bars either. Bringing it back to sports it was more like boxing where Cass was point scoring with hitting Goodz more but the times Goodz connected were harder.
