i got rum 3-0ing twork. his shyt was on another level, twork shyt was cool but slightly gassed imo especially the 3rd some lines were not THAT fire as they were acting. nitty 3rd was fire some of his wordplay was crazy. as for nitty walking off, i really cant call it either way, my first thought was its not a big deal but then again he was naming multiple family members names, I can see overeacting to that in the moment. not cause you care what hes saying to you, but more so youre putting all his family members governments out there. also twork overdoing it with the blood shyt, seems mad forced," oh that was dope, blood". mad gimmicky , even him starting his 3rd, like if you came in like that cool. but it seems so forced to me at this point. i prob like tworks material vs arsonal more, outside his 2nd vs ars but his first and 3rd vs ars were better than he was here, he was cool.

Twork being extra'd out with that blood shyt was just a tactic to get in Nitty's head and throw him off his game. Every Nitty battle I see him having temper tantrums and throwing Cs in nikka's faces so if someone wants to give back that same energy HE opened that door.

I don’t normally like saying shyt like “Oh they’re controlling the narrative” but with the way the Mickey/DNA, Nitty/NJT and Geechi/Shine battles are being talked about, it’s hard to not feel the NWX influence.

Finally finished the VOD

Loso/Trez Trez 2-1 maybe 30. Great performance by Trez. Loso was cool.

Wavy/Brizz -Wavy exposed again. Get him outta here. BODY

JC/Ave - Debatable, I say JC 2-1. Ave was gassed (the theme for this event), and JC had some really good lines slept on. Very good battle though.

Iron/O-Red - O-Red 2-1, maybe 30. Red delivers and sells better. Iron had some shyt. Some landed, some didn't.

Nitty/NJT - Nitty 2-1 Clear. Nitty was in his bag. Great performance. NJT barely got that round.

DNA/Mickey - DNA 2-1 Clear. Best DNA in a minute. Mickey has good bars, but DNA is a great overall battler. That 357 line. 3rd angle was great, too.

Gotti/K-shine - Gotti 2-1 in an underwhelming battle allegedly for COTY.


As far as the event, it was good in general. As has been said, Smack had to put a lid on:

Gas - idk what you can really do about this in this format. If you're battling on a volume, bring people.

Gang shyt - That shyt NJT pulled was lame. This needs to end, because someone is going to get hands put on them or worse, and battle rap will catch another black eye, lose venues, etc.

And why the fukk would you book Wavy on a Volume? That nikka needs to go anyway. He somehow beat NJT CLEAR (what does that say about him?), but he's been trash otherwise.

COTY: I still say JC, it's between him and Geechi. Shine is no longer undefeated, and had lighter opponents. JC is arguably undefeated, and had the toughest year of opponents. Geechi has a clear loss, but otherwise had a great year. I would throw Pat Say in there, but I think he only had like 4 battles this year, and two were against no names, and I feel Danny beat him.
