Why don't they use the filtered camera lense, similar but not the same as Banned, to give it that gritty/underground feel to it.
This is the first time Avocado has truly dropped the ball for me.
This shyt looks like it was recorded with a high camera quality phone, also they should've studied the previous Volumes and see which angles work best, close ups, upper body, wide etc and stick to those.
I'm not a film guy but i know enough about production and post production etc to know when something is half baked. The audio is/was great though.

Off first watch, every battle was entertaining except for Reed/Surf. Red/Geechi, Chilla/Nitty and Arsonal/Chess were all very entertaining debatable battles that I don’t particularly care to call a winner for because they’re all rewatachable. Verb/DNA was annoying in the sense that Verb rapped his ass off and his material was really well written but DNA’s material is very ABC to me. He was good in the 3rd but I have Verb winning clearly.

I watched the rest of the battles while I was out and about. Had some rewards for Finish Line I had to use before that shyt expired (my sneakerheads in here know what's up, lol).
Was about to jump on here and comment but I didn't have it like that on my phone to go back and forth and post. Yooooo, that stream...if you were out and about, shyt was working damn good. URL impressed me with how smooth the stream was. I caught part of Reed v. Surf and....I will say this...Surf did do good (I know I know) BUT Reed fukkin' upgraded....choke hurt him but yo, he was building up throughout all 3 rounds; it was debatable from what I saw....Reed choked in the beginning and then Surf choked in the end. Chess v. Arsonal was a dogfight. Geechi v. Red was pretty damn close; they both realy deserved to keep their belts. Verb v. DNA really became a style clash; Verb showed how dope of an intricate writer he can be and DNA showed how good he is angling his opponent. However on both ends, DNA got soooo much gas and Verb was a little too calm. I need to watch it again but I think it might end up being a preference battle.
I still think that $50 was a bit much and they should have promoted a $35 to $40 special since its the holidays. BUT I like what the card turned out to be in the end. Only person who really completely shyt the bed was Ace Amin and it was just that his memory for in depth writing like that and some of his breathe control was off. Other than that, whole card was on point.

I been sayin nikkas in battlerap talkin way too much. All these unnecessary pressure they putting on nikkas to do everything but focus on their craft.
I’ve always said Chilla, O-Red and Nitty are the closest thing to Lux’s penCertain nikkas in Battlerap have impressed me on a rap level (fukk all them theatrics and pointless shyt y’all)
To the point I’ll always have a form of respect for them.

Them nikkas pushed and took rappin to a place I haven’t seen a lotta other people take it. What they all have in common is bein unorthodox.
(I could add Prime B Magic to that list simply by taking the way he put his punches together into account.)
Most of their styles fell victim to the 4-bar punch cornball era, but I’ll always respect em for what they brought to the table when the borders of rapstyles in Battlerap were/seemed limitless.
nikkas like Big T and Yung Ill would Spit 8 bars of FIRE, without the ADD crowd complaining about punchrate allowing them to punch harder then others when they got to it.
That DVD/ early YouTube era was special man, RAPPIN really shined back then

nikkas gave Chilla such a bad rep and I always thought it was corny. Yeah he needed to step up the performance but he didn't deserve all the hate he got. When he sat Saga down with that porn mag angle, nikkas was quiet. But yet kept saying he was boring. He works his way up on KOTD and he still didn't get the proper respect he deserved. Goes back to URL and gives us a classic with Nitty NOW everyone wants to chill out. SMH.
Fully agree. Sounds like (and I could be wrong) DNA wants to battle Lux for some other reasons; like Lux not really being into his style off the jump I think. Anyways, I liked DNA's 3rd. I will say that. But Verb was really right about a lot of shyt with DNA in his rounds. What hurt DNA in this battle, too, he pointed out the factor of him getting gassed in the first...and he kept getting gassed. I feel like if he did that and that didn't happen, DNA would have taken the battle. The fact he admitted he knew it was helping and let it rock (can't control your folks of course but still), I look at that funny. But I got Verb with the 1st clear and edging the 2nd. DNA took that 3rd with his breakdowns of what he was doing throughout his career. It was sort of a repeat of how he did in the Factz about what he has done for the game; but it was dope how he shouted out battlers he considered the newer vets.
man i watched it again i think verb bodied DNA, nobody has ever actually taken the time to break dna down like that, nobody ever talked to dna like that for three rounds. dna was gassed off average bars, he lost to mickey factz too but he was better in that battle. he was also getting gassed. his shyt is so simple. verb was fire, he was prob better than vs lux and mook. this reminds me of how he talked to brizz but at that time he wasnt in shape and his delivery and breath control wasnt on point
