i always said dna beats good battlers cause nobody cares about beating him cause you dont get any props for beating dna, nobody is moving you up in their top 5 for beating dna, cause hes a fukkin cornball. but verb actually prepared for him and bodied him

i just rewatched Verb and DNA's battle. yep, i got Verb 2-1. he set it up perfectly where DNA fell into the trap; especially all of what he said in the 1st. DNA tried the same by the 3rd but it was too late by then. i don't think DNA did bad but what Verb did was really create a breakdown of his whole style, persona, and approach throughout the whole battle. DNA did a dope breakdown of his style in the 2nd but i think he shouldve did that earlier in the round and ran with it a little more. PLUS, Verb's smooth ass rebuttal in the 2nd wasn't expected; not the best but it worked. Verb's 3rd hit hard but i have to give DNA credit for his 3rd for his angle of professionalism in the game on his end.

I don't think he was trying to be Lux at all honestly. Lux doesn't pride himself on things that he considers someone who is a square to not understand. Verb does that shyt. But what Verb and Lux have in common is how slick they can talk in their rounds when they put it together.

You were there in person so I get it that it comes across different to you. But yeah, I feel like Verb showed a level of writing that was crazy. DNA has a crazy performance though and I do give him the 3rd.

The problem is he doesnt structure it so people know that's what he's doing, you can't have 7 bars of simple shyt then have a dense 8th bar, you set up the people's ears for a simple joint already

Thats why it is a preference battle. I have to be fair in that sense. DNA will always master the art of current event bars and Verb is one of the most in depth writers. I cant be mad at people who got DNA winning. I get it but it didnt work for me.
