Smack slogan is “You can’t copy respect” but these battle rappers don’t respect him or url as a whole. I understand he can’t make sure these guys are prepared and have flawless rounds but there shouldn’t be ONE good battle on a card of seven

He may never drop these at all.
But, I don't think iron vs jc was that bad.
And roc vs holla wasn't terrible and might have come across better in a different crowd. Might have been lit in houston.
Dna and ave both came with 3 rounds prepared too.

I really wanted Tay Roc to take that but I'm feeling like Holla 2-1 possibly 3-0 with the first round being closest.
Gonna rewatch Math/Ave and JC/Iron but my score card for the night looks like DNA got it.

Let me say something about JC/Iron. There was nothing great about that battle.
Iron was not that good. Sometimes these bars over everything else guys get too much credit.
Math Hoffa had the worst performance of the night. Very similar to the Ttop battle. I don't know how to define him. He's sort of like a midtier legend. I don't know, but he showed yet again that he's missing something that the other top tier legends have. He has so many bad performances, that it's unbelievable. The guy couldn't rap any of his rounds.
Ill Will may very well be the joke of the night. He lost to a guy that forfeited a round. At the highest level of battle rap, it's fair to say the majority of battles tend to be debatables. When you give away a round, it's very hard to clearly win a battle. This guy Ill Will really lost the battle.
When I watched guys like Math & Rex tonight, it just reminded me I can't fall for it with Verb. However, Verb has been performing at a higher level than those guys, so he can beat Mook.

Nah. People don't want to admit but they grading them on a curve and all it says is folks ain't expect much from him (him and Rex tbh). I don't think people should get COTN for exceeding expectations. Should be for best performance period.
