Vegas was worth the experiment but not for Summer Madness. Summer Madness has to be in NYC or another battle crazy city. Should’ve did a trial Vegas run using a NOME type of event
Suge garbage, Geeci just good enough to beat him, Suge Jerseyed his 3rd.
O Red lost his fukkin voice so bad he didnt spit 2nd and spit his 3rd like a throat cancer patient, and STILL BEAT Ill Will cause Will was so trash.
Ave was Ok vs Math but Math was so horrendous he choked the majority of ALL 3 rounds, destroying the battle.
DNA Twork had a good opening 1st rnd, but then Twork stumbled and choked all through his second, then Jerseyd his 3rd after 4 bars. And his Strapped In was TRASHHHHH.
Iron and JC was a decent battle, but a lot of 'you're jewish' 'oh yea well you're black' angles. JC won, but it was nothing insane, I can respect this battle though. It looked better cause we just wanted a real battle at this point.
Reed Rex, 1st rd crazy. Rex went bananas rd 1, reed was cool too. Reed rd 2 mighta been my favorite moment of the night, he was hittin that smack dvd philly flow showing you can hype a crowd just by flow and performance and I enjoyed it. Reed did good in the 3rd too, but Rex talkin through rnds, complaining bout time and fell off to complete garbage rd 2 and 3, making the battle not fun anymore.
Hitman Roc was Ok, but an ongoing theme of the night was also the ass crowd, which combind with this being the last battle of a garbage night made this battle no fun too. Vegas crowd was one of the worst I ever saw/heard. It's like they were just happy to be sitting at the table but weren't really as deep fans as the east. Reacting to the wrong shyt, quiet at weird times, loud at weird times. Whole vibe of this crowd was off.
Overall this event, I'd give a 2, maybe 3 out of 10. No joke.

so i watched the roc/hitman battle first.
Hitmans first is decent and rocs was super light to me,, the consensus seemed to be hitman clearly got the second, so after seeing rocs first, i was thinking oh he mustve been playing this battle. but both their seconds are dope to me, i didnt think there was a huge difference but edge hitman. and i thought roc clearly got the 3rd, i fukk with his 3rd, hitmans 3rd was eh. its a pretty good battle. i think the second round wouldve gotten mad reaction in irving plaza and maybe rocs 3rd also.

Yea man, this these guys skill. They supposed to be the best at it but cant remember bars if someone talks while they're saying it
Reed comes from the era of rapping over and through the room without stopping, served him well.
The sad truth is these battlers are lazy. Yea it takes a long time to write good bars, and memorize them. If the hours put in aren't matching the check, then stop battle rapping. If i got 5k to show up to SM7 and another 5K for battle of the night, and you gave me a month to write.
A 10k payday to memorize 15 minutes of great lyrics in 4 weeks? (keep in mind these battlers had a lot longer than that). 10k? Im up there sayin the kick back sent me into the crowd and backflipping off stage for a reaction come on now. These guys writing garbage and not remembering it. I'd have almost preferred no shows from these clowns.
NJT, Math, Ill Will, T Rex, (ill give suge a pass) need to gtfo. NJT I say in 6 months if he don't choke against 3 middle tiers we can let him back. But he need to not be main cards for a few events at least so he knows.

I didn’t give Roc a round live. I’m more disappointed with this than his battle with Goodz. These two battles were to test and see if Roc elevated his superstar intangibles like presence and delivery to the likes of Goodz and Hitman, and he just don’t got it like they do

Two battles for Roc away from URL's NY gas station. One battle he got booed, the other he arguably got 30'd. Hmmmm.......
