I feel they just didn't find a way to garner new audiences and getting off YouTube hurt them. Sucks YouTube changed its rules up but nothing could be done about that. Battle rap is underground and most attempts at trying to make it more than that failed. I get battlers want big money but it's just not there especially not at this point.

Battle raps problem is that there aren't enough people worth paying for, and not enough people willing to pay for them. It's a niche market that the wild days of YouTube allowed to flourish - but battle rap is and will be underground always for a reason.
