IMO in order for this to work they're gonna need more callups. They don't have enough stars and even though the roster is deep, its still kinda thin for a brand split

Also they should make Raw the "entertainment" brand and Smackdown the "wrestling" brand. This can't work if they have a balance of both on the two rosters, because 1 they're not maximizing the # of potential matchups with a brand split so its best to just put the top workers together and establish a unique feel for each brand and 2 as we've seen these last 10 years or so WWE can't write compelling TV when they're working with a number of agendas. Raw these last 2 months or so been fire when the show was mainly focused on wrestling

How I would fantasy book this :youngsabo:

Tag Teams (IMO tag teams should be non-exclusive, they only have like 7 serviceable teams and the rest are jawber squads. But you should have each member of a team be on a brand so people can split/form teams easily, and for stables individual members can go off doing their own shyt instead of following the group all the time):
New Day (Cross-brand tag team champs)
The Club
Wyatts
Enzo & Cass
Vaudevillains
Uso's
Dudleyz
Shining Stars
Social Outcasts
Breeze & Fandango
Ascension
Golden Truth

Smackdown
Cena (WHC)
Styles
Orton
Cesaro (IC Champ)
Jericho
KO
Zayn
Gallows
Anderson
Kofi
Harper
Alberto
Apollo
Neville (Light Heavyweight Champ)
Kalisto
Kidd
Ziggler
Bubba
D-Von
Primo
Epico
Axel
Breeze
Goldust
Swagger
Becky
Charlotte
Naomi
Natalya
Paige
Tamina
Mauro Ranallo
Jerry Lawler
Corey Graves

Raw
Reigns (WWE Champ)
Bray
Balor (I doubt he'll be in NXT for much longer)
Ambrose
Corbin (US Champ)
Sheamus
Big E
Xavier
Enzo
Cass
English
Gotch
Rowan
Strowman
Jimmy Uso
Jey Uso
Big Show
Rusev (Euro Champ)
Ryback
Miz
Truth
Slater
Dallas
Fandango
Mark Henry
Sin Cara
Kane
Titus
Darren Young
Konnor
Viktor
Alicia Fox
Dana Brooke
Emma
Eva Marie
Lana
Nikki Bella
Rosa Mendes
Summer Rae
Michael Cole
J.B.L.
Byron Saxton

Non-Exclusive Wrestlers:
Rollins (Is granted something in his contract by Steph that allows him to be on both shows)
Sasha (Is given the same thing by Steph, also the cross-brand women's champ)
Brock
Rock
Triple H
Undertaker
I would agree with about 80 percent of this most notably difference would be Enzo and Cass on Smackdown and KO on RAW.

fukk the main event. Everything is not about the main event. The WHOLE SHOW SHOULD BE IMPORTANT!!! That main event or nothing mentality is terrible.

I dont know where this new logic comes from that there were only 6 liked wrestlers ever and everyone else in history was irrelevant.

if the card for a PPV was (im just throwing this shyt together quick)

American Alpha vs. The Uso's
Enzo and Cass vs. New Day for belts
Nakamura vs. Cesaro (Ic title)
Sami Zayn vs. KO in a gimmick Match
Ambrose vs. Roode
Finn Balor vs. The Miz
Asuka vs. Sasha Banks
Bray and Luke Harper vs. The Club
Styles vs Rollins
Roman vs. Cena

We could have dream matches weekly, and still have fresh match ups to spare.

Why would people want to water down the rosters? That makes no sense to me. Shouldn't the whole point be to have the most potent fed possible. Its not the roster, its the booking. The booking is what makes people important.

EVERY SEGMENT SHOULD MEAN SOMETHING. Your not irrelevant if your not feuding for a title or going on last.

THATS the problem, there needs to be great midcarders... IE Scott Hall, Mr. Perfect, Booker T etc. They moved seamlessly throughout the ENTIRE card. Because everyone was important. Thats a GOOD thing.

You're STILL missing the POINT.
They will always give more time to the main event and more important stuff. The main event drives the company. It drives the wrestling BUSINESS. It drives the boxing business, the UFC business. It's just the way it is.

People want to see their favs in the mix for something important....that can also include the mid-card as well

BUT, when you have too much talent on the roster, certain guys will suffer unfairly. A guy who is a mid-carder with a brand split, might be a curtain jerker otherwise.

Things really can't get any worse. :francis:
you're right.. I remember being excited when they ended the brand split and unified the titles and we saw how that turned out

This could be great if done well, we'll see. I'm just sick of seeing guys like AJ directionless. My question for you is do you think they should go all in with Smackdown as the internet show and RAW as the casual show or mix it up?

Guys like Aj are gonna thrive with a brand split. He has a legit shot at a world title now IMO.

There doesn't need to be two belts again. I don't know how you guys don't see this as a problem. All the SD belt is going to be is that glass ceiling it was when it was the big gold. You can name on one hand the guys who won the SD big gold that they put the RAW WWE Title or Unified WHC on.
