Agreed. But you forgot that we need to get Delonte West a goddamn therapist.
I wouldn't even be opposed to some post-league pension. 401k that shyt because a lot of these guys go broke and it's sad as fukk. Meanwhile their "owners" remain fat and happy. Players are making millions, it should be preventable.

And you can't expect them to be the most financially responsible dudes because you're taking them right out of highschool or making them quit 2 years ahead of graduating college, where the 2 years they did spend the majority of the time was spent playing basketball instead of learning.

It's even worse with the NFL :wow: that shyt's a national travesty and Teddy Roosevelt was right in banning it a hundred years ago. Go Raidahz tho :yeshrug:

a lot of rookies in the nfl dont even know they dont get paychecks during the offseason. these nikkas be broke after their first season cause they bought a condo + 3 cars + god knows what else they probly couldn't afford til their next deal, begging for advances from the front office to avoid pulling a ron artest and working at radio shack.

some of the stories i've heard about how these nikkas end up going broke... :whew:

The current deal still hasn't expired. Either side can opt out in 5 days but neither has yet. Non-story until that happens and even then it's nothing until we get to Sept/Oct next year.

I'm pretty sure the NBA owners told the players they'd concede some things if nobody knelt or sat for the anthem. :mjpls: Should've got the shyt in writing. :yeshrug:

Players need to opt out and deman independent artibraition for discipline.
Player representatives from each team need to have voting share on rule changes, equipment changes, and etc.
Reclassification of drug listing, take marijuana off prohibited substance list entirely.
Allow players in drug treatment program to be around team facilities and team in meetings and etc.

Breh you acting like the NBA discipline system is cracking down hard on players. None of this is needed, the NBA discipline system for everything right now is a joke.

You seem to think you argue for things when things go bad or being abused, you don't, you argue for better options ALWAYS.
Everything they have is needed, Silver threatening those players with tht BS for potential protest with regard for BLM told me all I need to know.
Also if I"m a player I'm arguing for a reducing in the luxury tax.

I think it's in the best interest of both sides to keep shyt the way it is and continue to eat :manny:
Both sides done shown they willing to sit for extended period of time so why risk it when both sides are eating at historical levels
One thing i think might help is if they could add a mechanism like MLB where teams can pay a portion of trash contracts just to get rid of them in a trade
not sure how you fit it into the cap, but i see a lot of teams being hand strung with contracts getting bigger and bigger, imagine if Conley never is the same again and he's in year 1 of a huge contract
