I know Nikes are expensive and I havent really been paying attention to pricing. I remember seeing shoes at 180 which I felt was murder. I looked at some Lebrons last week since they were on the main displaypicked them up and then I saw a 248 dollar price tag inside or something in the low to mid 200s
I couldnt justify buying them shyts unless they walked for me

Personally I wouldn't drop any more than $200 on some shoes. I got some nikes back in 2006 that cost about $190 and I WORE THEM shytS OUT. I still wear them every now and again. I bought some new nikes about 9 months ago to replace them.
The new nikes seem to be worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY I paid for them. They're solid as hell. Those Chinese peasants put in work.
Also you got to keep in mind that people who are paying $300+ for these joints are sellin them on ebay for 5 times that amount.

These shoes cost no more than $10-15 to make, I know, trust me.
The markup % on them is INSANE. Everything else is shipping and warehouse space costs, but that's still cheap. A $250 pair of European dress shoes will last you YEARS...aint no damn Lebron James shoes last you that long...why? Because they're simply not worth it.
That's why these companies got so mad when Marbury's shoes were out a few years ago

those starburys were straight trash. Horrible quality. They don't even deserve to be mentioned on the same day as lebrons. Marbury did say he was working on another line with better performance but nothing ever came
