get you a pair of Nike Roshe run. Thank me later
Uh yes.....everyone back in the day especially in So CaL use to and still rock Vans...them shyts are played the fukk out.....I use to have a green denim pair and a red pair back in the day....you kids aint doing nothing new with played out Vans.....

I'm still trippin over those Allen Iverson shoes. Those things were outlet store clearance status when they came out years ago, and now they retro them and they're going for over $300 from ebay and resellers![]()

only skaters rocked vans in the 90s bruh... every shoe been around for decades, theyre just played out because you're too old to rock them anymore![]()
Your thinking about the nubuck Questions. The ones that were just released were only sold in Philly. And ontop of that only around 5000 of them were sold which makes them even more exclusive.
Oh really???? The Ese's rocked them hard homey and so did nikkaz because they had a shyt load of colors.....you aint know whats up and you were probably a toddler back then....I stay rocking my J's....
they sold them out here.....
i wont lie i was young.. i know the eses were rockin cortezs though. and i remember vans used to be at payless shoe source and no one was trying to rock them. they were just some cheap ass skater shoes, in the same section as airwalks.
ill take your word for it tho
either way, vans look right with everything these days. PLUS theyre cheap. we were rockin em before weezy
nikka, stop.
These shoes cost no more than $10-15 to make, I know, trust me.
The markup % on them is INSANE. Everything else is shipping and warehouse space costs, but that's still cheap. A $250 pair of European dress shoes will last you YEARS...aint no damn Lebron James shoes last you that long...why? Because they're simply not worth it.
That's why these companies got so mad when Marbury's shoes were out a few years ago
I know Nikes are expensive and I havent really been paying attention to pricing. I remember seeing shoes at 180 which I felt was murder. I looked at some Lebrons last week since they were on the main displaypicked them up and then I saw a 248 dollar price tag inside or something in the low to mid 200s
I couldnt justify buying them shyts unless they walked for me
The funny part is that people are still buying them
edit for expected response
yes Im broke
The rereleases were sold everywhere. But when the shoes originally dropped in the late 90's the pearlized ones were only sold in Philly.
have you ever worn a pair of lebrons?
yall nikkas kill me speaking on shyt yall know nothing about, lebrons are some of the most comfortable and durable shoes you could ever cop, there not even 250 the op was referring to the elites which are a limited shoe.
basketball shoes in general are build to last a long time, another reason why they are so expensive is because you could flip those 250 dollar shoes for about 6-700 dollars or more in some cases.
I got a pair on release day back in the day and I was in LA......
Are those good to play ball in? I was debating on some shoes to cop for ball, and sense I missed the chance to get the Questions I gotta looks for something else.
