Took a few spins but now I'm kinda loving this album. You sons of bytches were right!!!
ok great they got bc interviewbecause im not up on smoke dza at all please forgive me coli
DZA my guy but he really isnt interesting enough, the features were all dope hes rapping his ass off but the features make more people wanna check it out.As expected, the highlight of this album is the production. Rock has to be 1 of the greatest producers, and he showcases his usual quality on this album. they feel "classic", feel "hip-hop", however they sound dated in my honest opinion.
So far my fav. tracks are: Dusk 2 Dusk, Milestone, Moving Weight. Styles P & Cam'ron came through and bodied they verses. On the flipside, I think the album over-reliance on features took some of the light from DZA on this.
Still solid on a scale from 1-10. I give it a 6.5/7
Roc & Muggs KAOS made me feel like listening to this again for whatever reason.
shyt really came out nearly two years ago. doesn't feel like it. album still sounds lovely.
i forgot how much i liked Cam's feature on this even if he gave Dave East and Wale similar verses in the same time frame.
would be nice if Cam did a one producer album before he bows out for good and Pete would be the right choice.
Royce verse on this was a reminder of how much i really dislike him as a rapper....boy corny as shyt.
