I think Eminem and his love of making Stadium music rubbed off on Dre, you hear it in that Sting monstrosity, Dre talking to a stadium audience on it.

That's the way your post came across but I appreciate your clarification. I don't agree with the statement of that's where his heart is though. He did 2-300 tracks through Lockdown and not what you described.
Dre's other albums were great because the ghostwriters put in a lot of work lol (Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Game, etc etc), but this time...it's mostly a Snoop's solo album, with Dre production. Snoop probably didn't want to let other artists write his shyt.
I think this is down to music as it is this day and age. A Snoop/Dre project needs to be markeatable and profitable. If they have to do 'stadium' stuff to make a bit of money then the streaming zombies have caused that. It's a shame but that's how it is now. If people weren't streaming and were still buying music en masse then you can bet this project would be a lot different.
Had me thinking "How the hell didn't I hear this Jelly Roll guy who I've never heard of until Missionary on the RBX album".

I've liked the production so far but a couple tracks feel overproduced like Dre is tryna appeal to the most people possible instead of reaching them organically.

Trust I'm going in with the feeling of Satisifiction energy. That boss hog OG steez, because I know these old dingbats not putting out The Chronic level of music, folks fitting to be disappointed if they expecting that from them.
