I respect the good that Oprah has done, but have been calling BS on her moves since "metoo" movement became a thing.
I haven't read that thread, it was before my time here and I think just before "me too" had a name.
But as we've seen publicly the past 2 years, there are networks of people who can be called to put out fires, convince people to retract comments or drop charges, or flex muscle to protect powerful media interests.
At the time of this thread, powerful interests had Oprah in the "put out fire" role. Now others are putting out fires for her.
Terry Crews alleged that Russell Simmons was trying to get him to fall back on the airing out of that male pervert working for a big talent agency.. A few weeks ago, we saw people put out Russ' fire and make Oprah fall back.
I take note of all of these public revelations.
