Snoop is an ignorant piece of shyt and gave Gayle an out by making her the victim.
She was gonna claim the victim role no matter what. That's the playbook for this shyt. Say foul shyt, get backlash, cry about people being mean to you and hurting your feelings (while making up fake death threat stories). She's only a victim if dumb motherfukkers let her be. It isn't working this time because she went at the wrong one. Kobe is revered by a monstrous coalition involving all races/genders.

This dumb ass nikka somehow managed to make Gayle King and Oprah look like victims in this whole thing & started another BM vs BW online war. :snoop:

How you pushing 50 and still behaving like an overemotional teenage girl?
:yeshrug: Y'all co-signed this unprovoked fuccery from him when he went at Kanye West & Iggy Azalea, so this is what y'all get.

Above the fray.
She can weigh in on this but not deal with issues that affect Black people on a national level, you know like- militarized policing, educational disparities, criminal justice reform, economic policies. But a tweet from and vid from a rapper about an issue that rightfully needed to be addressed with Gayle King, requires threat of armed forces.
:comeon:
anything that affects a threat to the white power structure, the mammie squad runs to protect; clearly it’s not that serious.
:unimpressed:
not comfortable with mammy being used here, but I get your point.
Rice writes, speaks, and tweets about a number of topics, I guess. This social media post is just the one that got on our radar, here.

Powerful interests , "brands', and money are involved and at stake in this Gayle King story. They pulled out all the stops.

What did Snoop mean when he said "back off bytch before we come get you"

:patrice:
Black people coding up and establishing a unified front of collective action for and against those who try to disparage or create discord in the community- what the fuk else would it mean?
:mjpls:

Tangibles
I agree with his sentiments 100 percent, but he did do too much

He's too old to be speaking that harshly, we can be on code and also control our emotions

I understand why he got so emotional about it because I'm sure he was tight with Kobe but..

I respect him for coming back with this response

In other words, mammie is being a mammie working for and protecting the interests of her white “family” while neglecting her own race.
:yeshrug:
Never have seen her go at white racists with the same vigor - if the pattern of behavior fits, I’m comfortable with the reference.

He's standing on what he originally said :what:

Just making sure the media can't change the narrative to threats of violence
Funny how a black man defending himself and explaining his position is “leaning back” . Ironically, that’s the same rhetoric that they tried to use against Kobe - he owned up to his mistake with the sexual contact but defending himself using the legal system and making a statement about responsibility is “leaning back” or an “admission of guilt”.
