Been listening to Doggystyle nonstop yesterday, first playing it through couple times then let it play at random. Doing the same thing right now, and damn I mustve listened thru this album completely like 1000 times and its still so fresh and clean, unbelievable. But I made this thread to really point out, how dope Lodi Dodi is. The original is a classic, but in my opinion Snoop made a better song. Cant remember when I played the original the last time, but Snoops version is just so sick, damn. That beat is captivating as fukk and snoops delivery merges with the instrumental so effortlessly. Specifically listen to that song when you high af, shyt takes you to another fukkin dimension :russ:

Songs dope but personally my favorite song is doggy Dogg world. Songs still a classic tho

Every song on here is classic.
Doggystyle for me is just the best hiphop album of all time. 100%
EVERYTHING is on point on this album.
Dres production is unbelievable, the best production works hes ever done imo. A1
Snoop murks every single fukkin bar on this album, that flow, voice, the raw lyrics. Again A1
And the guests are also fukkin amazing. From Rage killing the G-Funk Intro, to Tha Dogg Pound killin their parts, Nate Doggs legendary Aint No Fun verse, Malik who was fukkin 10 years old at the time killin his verse on Pump Pump. A fukkin 1

Cool song but seems a little to gimmicky...

Doggy Dogg World:blessed:

Tha Shiznit:blessed:

Murder Was The Case:blessed:

Yeah if I had to pick the weakest song on the album it would be that, but part of the reason is that the rest of the songs are so dope

Tha Shiznit and Gz and Hustlas are my 2 favorite tracks
:wow: at Snoops flow throughout the album

Growing up i always loved Snoop. Not just for the music tho. But yall gotta admit, its really amazing how much charisma he posses. Snoop is Snoop. Theres no one like him. Dogg can really blend in any enviroment while being himself at the same time. From the hood-est enviroment all the way up to middle aged soccer moms. Its hard for alot of us, especially minorities. Or maybe im speaking for myself (sorry if im wrong!).

I gotta admit ive always been jealous of that gift. Maybe because im such a distant/anti-social type of dude in real life. I just wish i had as much cool factor as dude. Seriously.

Whats even funnier is you can always tell that Snoop naturally was a shy dude. So im sure the fame & development played a part in his growth. But its usually them who potentially have alot of personality. But for w/e reason its not coming out (shyness, afraid of being different from their crowd, etc.

But Snoop gotta be one of the coolest dude out there.

love how snoop covered that song. it's really hard and/or pointless to cover a rap song word for word because that takes away the whole point of being a rapper, but he did it flawlessly, swagged on that shyt, and made it better.

Its the songwriting which is rare in rap, the song has infinite replay value. Theres no repetitive hook to break to flow of the song so it just rides
