so 3.9 yards per rush makes you a HOF these days?

:mjlol: Shyt was a joke, but I guess sucking up to the media & being a Steeler will get you in automatically. :deadmanny: If Hines fukking Ward gets inducted, and its probably gonna happen. :snoop:

Damn, I would have bet that he averaged more yards per carry. 3.9 shouldn't get you in the hall of fame.

The D (where it's so cold)
being a Pittsburgh Steeler dont hurt either :martin:

on the real, the Bus is a HOFer. Ran for alot of yards, currently sixth all time. Wasnt elected for his first several years of eligibility if you care to have different distinctions amongst HOFers, but in the end he belongs.
This is why it's so important to actually watch games instead of going to googled stats. No, Bettis wasn't flashy or had godly stats but he absolutely dominated 2nd of games with his running. When it was needed most and it only took 5 years for the HOF voters to recognize it. That 3.9 stat is the only thing people can criticize Bettis about yet he and Hines Ward defined a decade of late 90's early 00's football. Power backs aren't even that widely used anymore and they sure wouldn't have a career aslong as Bettis had let alone get in the top 10 in rushing, spots reserved for traditional running backs only. The Bus and those Steeler teams were amazing to watch I'm glad there are still voters that rely on the games instead of the stats.

he was a compiler. There was nothing amazing about those teams. They weren't dominant or anything close to it.

marcus allen is at 4.1
curtis martin is at 4

nikkaz acting like 3.9 is so horrible considering the type of back jerome was

jerome would have been at 4 as well but his last season dude was just used as a goal line or 3rd and short type back
