i dont even think the media is blinded by 1000 yard, 16 game seasons anymore. hes was an above-average-not-elite compiler, a steeler which is very key, and he got a ring to get over the mythical hump and into the hall. whenever you have to bring in a whether a guys team won a title to try and give him that hall of fame push, hes not deserving on his own individual merits

By NFL HoF standards, longevity of good play matters even if stats doesn't catches you.

We grilled Cris Carter ass last year, but he did have 8 years straight of 1,000 yd and fourth in TD.

Don't get mad because the NFL allow mediocrity in the hall.
