THUNDER BUDDIES
In order to choose anything, one needs the freedom of thought. What comes with the power of "Choice" is responsiblity; I choose to burn down a building, I'm responsible for the ppl who parish inside whether or not that was my goal.

With everything in a slave's life controlled by white supremacey, can you honestly say slaves had a choice? Or that they are culpable for white supremacy because they couldn't stop white supremacey?

THAT'S WHY I SAID ON A BASIC LEVEL.

That don't mean anything, he could be Somali or something. He a c00n regardless and you should beat him up
He's not of foreign decent.

Not that i know of at least and he's never claimed to be anything else the 10 years over known him. He's a gung-ho boy scout, never been outside the US, had never even seen the ocean until we took him to the beach in 2014. I was just answering the question about the age and where he's from. You see his first name (Duane) . He has a very common American last name. Let's just say if i gave you 10 guesses of the most common African American last names there is absolutely no way you miss his last name. I'd say top 5 even but just saying top 10 just in case.

WHy are you even questioning his ethnicity , tho? Did you question Kanye's? Or do you think Kanye is just that unique and original that he and only can think of the shyt that comes out of his mouth?

Slaves did fight back. If they didn't slavery would still be going strong today.:francis: Black peoples contributions to our own freedom are severely underrepresented.

Whether it was slaves escaping and campaigning for abolition in the north, slaves violently overthrowing the masters on the plantation, or escaping and coming back to help others escape.

The thought that all slaves were complacent or even content being slaves is a White supremacist talking point/lie... not "free thought"

No respect to any Black person who feels otherwise.:francis:

he's too far gone :francis:
No, he's not.

But, he is displaying tunnel vision.

I'd avoid getting too deep with him because it'll only frustrate you.

Don't ex-communicate him, but chip away at his concrete opinion on this over time.

Also Black conservatives conveniently skip over the fact that the Blacks who were complacent during slavery were because the White man taught them Christianity.:sas1: That if they were good and obedient slaves they would be rewarded in the afterlife.

But they don't have the courage to place blame on White people or their god but would rather shyt on their own.:wow:

Exactly. Organized religion is one of the main problems. I'm glad we agree.

That makes it sound like you're proving his point. Without the actions that slaves "chose" to engage in, we'd still be slaves. The choice to rebel and escape, tilted the scales to the point where a war was fought with one side one side wanting to treat black people like s**t and the other side wanting to treat them like s**t and keep them in bondage.

The people who rebelled made the decision that it was a choice and risked their lives for it. Whether the rebellion succeeded or not doesn't make a difference. They made their statement.

Regardless, I would never say that slavery was a "choice". That would be a slap in the face to my ancestors, because they did not see any other option. You can't expect a human to go against all they have known.

But at the same time, the victimization that is happening with this backlash is just not productive. Regardless of what the slaves went through, we gotta take ownership in being vulnerable to the point where the slave trade would have even happened. Why did they have the technology to subdue us, instead of the vice versa? We should have been sailing ships to Europe to capture their dumb asses.

We got caught slipping and paid the price for 500 years. Let's own that, and do something about it to turn the tide. Blaming whitey for it does us no good.
