Just read this story from someone on another board about a show from last night....
"So I drove six hours with a couple buddies of mine down to the beach in NC to see Action Bronson last night, paid $25 a ticket, and he never even came on stage. The host and the opening acts kept coming back on stage obviously trying to kill time until Bronson showed. He was to get $1500 in cash and a $500 check when he got to the venue, and he was so upset about the check that he decided it wasn't worth performing for his fans over. He was afraid of the check bouncing, which is understandable but not when it's from a reputable music group. The promoters said Action also asked for baby wipes on his ryder, and he was legitimately pissed off about not having them either. The show was packed out (not quite sure it was a sell-out) and you could feel the mood drop instantly as soon as the promoter came on stage and told the crowd the deal (this was around midnight; doors were at 8:00). Everyone is getting a refund, so that's nice. I also doubt it was because of "janky promoters" like Action is claiming, because the same music group brought GZA, Mobb Deep, Big Boi, and Mac all recently or in the near future, and they have a solid reputation in the Southeast.
Now, I'm a huge Bronson stan and this shyt was enough to make me lose my respect for him. He also told me to drink cum on twitter after I drunkenly voiced my displeasure, although that's typical of him. The openers really held it down even though they knew something was wrong. If you guys wanna check out @StrangerDay or @CNancer they really tried to make the show as best as possible given the situation, plus the host, Lee Hustle, came all the way from Brooklyn and still held it down(plus he had good tree)"
