First off the story this story is not coming from a first hand source, its coming from a disgruntled fan who is repeating what the promoter probably said to the crowd to save face.

Secondly, i dont give a shyt if he is giving out all that stuff......if the man requests a certain amount and you agree to it, either pay him or end up like this dumb promoter (giving refunds and coppin pleas). If you think that Bronson should have took a check in a situation like this ur an idiot.

I gotta say, I'm glad I decided to skip the show. i was going to go but couldn't.

I can vouch for the venue and it's promoter. I've been to a ton of shows there since 2004 and participated in a couple. They do good business and run a good ship. They always did everything the artists asked for in the contract and went out of their way to make sure everything was okay and that the performers were happy.
I hate to hear this happened, but I'm glad I wasn't there, and all I know is that The Soapbox is a good place to see shows. I just saw Mobb Deep there 2 weeks ago.

Just an observation: You sound like a person who has dealt with a lot of bad checks, shady venues, and janky promoters in your lifetime.

The promoter did pay him the amount. There were multiple ways to resolve the situation. Either Action gets $500 from the door and the promoter settles up with the venue later... somebody can make a late night run to the ATM... a lot of ways this could have been handled. But just like Bronson, you'd rather say fukk it and bounce and your fans just have to sit there and take it.

Yeah, see how long YOU last in the music industry with that type of behavior...

If Bronson never specifically stated the way he wanted to be paid BEFORE he got there, it's not on the promoter. But the promoter takes the negativity because of it. But everybody got their money refunded, so it doesn't really matter.

breh the same thing happened when I went to go see Wale a few years back and the venue was $30. There was 4 hours of bum ass no name performers out of Toronto that literally NO ONE heard of and dude finally came and only performed for 30 minutes.

Be warned, when these nikkas get small venue shows (even if you're a newcomer to the game like Bronson) be prepared for what you paid for cause there's a reason why the concert is cheap

If it aint a legit show for at least $70-300 expect to deal with some real bullshyt breh

obviously the promoter DIDNT pay him the amount or there wouldnt have been a problem. And fukk all that audibling at the line of scrimmage shyt. Pay me what you owe and im out. They obviously didnt tell him about the 500 dollar check shyt until the night of the show and they obviously didnt have the 500 dollars in the account or they could have simply gone to an atm and withdrew it and gave it to him in cash.

u nikkas are quick to sop anything up and run with it when its negative or slandering to a artist. This promoter deserved to get beat for the 1500 and lose all that cash on the refunds for handling his buisness the way he did.
