No artist is doing 5 shows a week. That's another myth that people REALLY have to get rid of.

Contrary to popular belief, you just can't hit up VENUE after VENUE like that... most of these people have families, lives, business to attend to. How the fukk would you stay sane doing anywhere between 160-260 shows a year? You'd kill yourself doing it.

$2000 a show would make me consider simply getting a job as in 40 hours with health insurance. Granted, I guess these indie artists are having fun doing what they love to do so I can't knock it, plus they're dreamers thinking one day it will all pay off. But for every rapper that actually blows, 100 will remain like Action Bronson. Think I'd rather have a typical nine to five.

The 9-5 route is the best option for most of these rappers. Having fun while doing shows is one thing, but unless you really have what it takes including talent AND image to take it to the next level, you'll end up owing money rather than having it saved up. At least you don't have debts to your job with a 9-5.

In your 20s, either route doesn't really matter. Once you start hitting 30, time to get that real job.

There was only like 100 people there he got mad there was so little people and no one knew his shyt (except 1 train) and just did his whole set literally in the crowd, and pushed the fukk out of some kid who was too close to him
