No NFL team is getting sold for less than 3 billion. The Panthers just sold for 2.3 and that's a small market team plus Richardson didnt even have much leverage.
With the TV deals combined with a hard cap it's basically printing money every year plus its the rich people version of fantasy football.

I think the initial reports about ownership were leaks from the Roc camp to create a defense for Hov. That was the foundation of every "Hov is playing chess, you guys need to be quiet and watch this play out" arguments from stans and paid propaganda "influencers" via social media.
I'll say it again...I don't even understand why Hov is doing this with the NFL instead of the NBA, where there is more money to be had and zero risk of backlash. But the NBA is full of black faces out in front, whereas the NFL is in desperate need of one...thus perhaps making this fiasco more personally beneficial to Hov....
End of the day...this is a sports league that bullshyts about its support for breast cancer research...and yet brehs think they're going to support black shyt? I'm sure SOME groups will get money but overall this is gonna be a scam that they use to project an image of inclusion.
