I think the initial reports about ownership were leaks from the Roc camp to create a defense for Hov. That was the foundation of every "Hov is playing chess, you guys need to be quiet and watch this play out" arguments from stans and paid propaganda "influencers" via social media.

I'll say it again...I don't even understand why Hov is doing this with the NFL instead of the NBA, where there is more money to be had and zero risk of backlash. Not even Sunday ticket. They have Amazon, Youtube, and Twitter fighting over the digital rights of the Thursday night games.....this is why it's so ridiculous that Colin got them shook like he did. They have giant corporations fighting just over their table scraps. The rate for 30 seconds of ad time just for the shytty Thursday games is 550k.

Their deals with NBC, CBS, Fox, and ESPN ends in 2022. The last time they negotiated the NFL raised the rate 60% on them without the competition of Amazon looming in the background. If they just do the same contract increase with those 4 in 2022 that means it'll be a 43 billion dollar TV deal.

Football is the best sport to gamble on and when you add fantasy football it almost guarantees people will pay attention to it even if they're not watching entire games week to week. There's a solid amount of billionaires worth more than Jay that are in line to become a majority owner and the cat who bought the Panthers made 2.2 billion in a single year before. One of his annual take home paychecks was worth more than all of Jay's worth.
