It's a really sad reality of these industries. They're plenty of straight men who actually like fashion, but don't get into the industry because they're not willing to do certain things. There's a reason why the fashion industry is the way it is, it's all reality. Plenty of movies show the reality of the entertainment industry, a lot of times they have to over exaggerate in order to get the point across as 'fiction.' Checkout The Neon Demon.
They used to have brothels for rich men made up of young female models in Milan back in the 80s and 90s, and modeling agencies used to secretely serve as escort services, sexual exploitation has always been part of the modeling business
Not to derail, But this is favorite type of film - movies and shows that are showing an exaggerated version of reality that they are really giving you game if you are paying attention.
I think “The Boys” on Amazon is like this. It’s really the world of celebs, politicians and athletes and the insane level of bs and lies and lifestyles and drugs there are into, but told in a “superhero” story…

This stuff happens with actors too of course. I was sad seeing this interview a while back. People just want to see your body even if the scene/photshoot is you being completely clothed. They want to use you, to feed off you.

People genuinely believe these folks make it in Hollywood and the entertainment industry solely off the basis of their talent. Everyone pays a toll. A lot of them can't cope with the price they paid, hence the number of them strung out on drugs and/or the subsequent suicides. My daughter is already into the arts heavy. Sings. Ballet. Plays. Her teacher pointed us to a casting call in Toronto, CA about eight months ago. Me & my wife had it out with one another, but I wasn't going for it. There is no way in hell I'd ever get a good night's sleep if I blessed it. That entire industry is satanic.
