So are we holding Dame to a standard this year or does he get to play the perpetual underdog? Again

Show me how many posters on this board besides yours truly that thought the Warriors would win the chip at the beginning of the 2014-15 season...if Steph had such a stacked roster why didn't any of y'all predict he'd get a chip? :coffee:

This was post #20. And the first mention of the Warriors, and surprise surprise it was you :stopitslime:

Nobody talking about the Warriors in this thread? Y'all see what I mean about logic? :mjlol:

7th post in this thread :coffee:

Don't do that, was Iverson playing with multiple All-NBA contemporaries in '01 or nah?

How about '20 Jimmy Butler?

What about Duncan in the 00s, particularly 2001-07, a stretch he pulled in 3 rings?

'11 Dirk?

'07 LeBron?

'15 Steph?

I mean this list is endless....

Him and Giannis, more than anybody else, these two are under the gun for sure for sure. Put up or shut up time...

Those were individual players, you're just being dense now.
Folk brung up Steph winning which = Warriors. You're playing dumb or you're honestly obtuse...either way enjoy your Saturday afternoon.

2001 eastern conference and he's not a contemporary :francis:

He didn't have to face anything close to the dynasty Warriors to get to the finals and had never been to a conference finals before last year

He's not as good as Duncan and i've never seen anyone claim such :yeshrug: and Duncan isn't a contemporary

Contemporary bruh ... but even if we use this example you're just highlighting the exception

He's not as good as LeBron and i've never seen anyone claim such

Klay was all-nba in 15 and has dame ever played with 1 all-star let alone all-nba player ..let alone 3 like steph would later do ...btw I hope we're keeping this same energy for Steph this season ... Finals or bust right?

Doesn't seem so G

He already got his team to a conference finals in the West ..I think thats about a proper max out considering his team compositions

Let me show you what these dumb NBA fan fukkboys have turned this thread to.

Dame isnt holding the Blazers back, but he isnt as good as Steph Curry. Therefore, not being as good as Curry is a fault. :russ:

this is why NBA discussions aint about shyt

The roster he has this season is MORE than enough to make serious noise. Or is he just gonna get to coast and have a few 50 point games on a barely above .500 team and get compared to players whom are at least a weight class or two above him?
define noise.. he has a top 15 roster at best.. what do you want him to do

TODAY: rockets, clips, lakers, jazz, nuggets.. that's just the west right now.. warriors if klay was healthy.. It's really Dame by himself come playoff time.. cj mccollum does not step up at all you can't win by yourself

He was in the CF last year, more recently than Harden. He lost to the Lakers this year and GSW last year. What year are we talking about where he was supposed to go farther than he did?

I don't want to get into semantics but I am not seeing Harden getting shyt on like that. Same with Giannis. Yes you have people that have said things about them but the overriding narrative wasn't that. PG caught more hell than anyone who has been discussed in this thread this summer. That superstar shyt on right there...where every day it's just something else and people just aren't letting up. I am not talking about a person or thread or two here or there. I'm talking a barrage. You honestly hear more about Giannis' J than you do "What are the Bucks gonna do to get him to stay?" :usure:.

I repeat what do you want to happen to him? You got a people in here shytting on him. I've been in other threads with cats going at him. So what do you want? Mind you this is a guy that has never been MVP or even finished super high or been regarded as the best player in the L but you want him to be held to the same standard as these people who all have been one or the other or both? And I am still tryna figure out what this standard is and what punishment is for not meeting it. It sounds like people either don't like dude or are mad that someone other than the guys they have deemed worthy actually get some attention every so often.
well when you in essence cry yourself onto all star and all nba teams by virtue of that fact alone he should have a bigger target on his back. :manny:

It's a 2 way street, if you feel that you are deserving of the accolades befitting a franchise player then you have to take the criticisms and accountability that entails too
