Were talking two entire different eras though. Funk is a legend because he helped pioneer an entire subgenre of wrestling. His offense was believable only because his stuff looked real (aside from the piledrivers sometimes). Theres a major difference between a Terry Funk and someone from XPW like Xtreme.I've been saying this for a while. Best PPV performer in the company this year

There's waaay too many amazing wrestlers that aren't crisp to say that's a factor when judging the quality of their work. shyt Terry Funk might be one of the least crisp motherfukkers ever and he migh legit be the GOAT wrestler.
Control of the ring I completely agree. Making you shyt look believable (regardless if it's a punch or a 450 splash) is more important than crispness imo, and that's something Cena has always struggled with and this year is on an all time low.
Believability is absolutely key, this i agree with. Cena is in an era that ring work matters. He didnt introduce a new style or anything he copied from other more talented wrestlers and did not come close to executing. He can cut one hell of a money promo. In those ropes outside of backstage politics what makes me believe he can beat the other guy?

Punk wasn't crisp at all and was considered a very good worker and a great big match performer.Daniel Bryan looks very awkward when he's not doing a mat exchange or a suplex. Orton is crisp as fukk but aside from his comeback firing up the crowd, dude is boring as fukk and isn't nearly as good as Cena at creating drama. I don't see crispness being a factor at all
And Terry was never crisp. Even working a "NWA Title match" style dude didn't show crispness
