Where is all this new-found faith in WWE in regards to : 1) Race and 2) Booking, coming from?

In regards to race, that shouldn't even be up for discussion. We all know the history of the company, the bullshyt they have pulled with black wrestlers, and some of the things that Vince/Hunter have straight up done on the actual program.

Booking wise...since when does the WWE have slow builds? Since when do they not just shove the person they want down our fukking throats?

Recently, the only time they have done that was for D-Bry, when they were damn near forced to give that man the title.

Look at Roman. They are trying to play his latest win off as him "finally" overcoming the odds ...when in actuality, this is his third fukking run.

NXT actually has some of y'all thinking that things are going to change in this company....or that Hunter ain't just another redneck in power in this industry....:usure:

They booked Bryan at WM 30 as finally overcoming the odds and it was his 3rd reign, too. Technically 4th if you count the WHC as a real world title or not. Not sure what that has to do with Roman or race.

The race point was different from the point on booking.

Roman/D-Bry were only brought up to highlight their typical booking methods. People are trying to justify this Charlotte nonsense while simultaneously complaining about Roman being forced down our throats. And they are pretending that Sasha is going to get some sort of D-Bry-esque underdog story when his build to WM30 was one of the biggest anomalies of the past 10 years.

"Oh don't worry, they are building up Sasha for a great victory over Charlotte at SS"...lol. There is no nuance or creativity with this company. They are pushing Charlotte because that's who they see as the face of the division. And if they were building Sasha up for a "moment", than that moment would have been her ending Charlottes run at WM, with the world's attention on wrestling, with her newly inducted cousin backstage. Not some (increasingly culturally irrelevant) SS event that most casuals don't give a shyt about.

prime TNA knockouts >>> this women's division

a matter of weeks? sasha been there since the summer.

let other people shine? charlotte had the belt dam near the whole time. who else is shining?

I don't know if you forgot or fell asleep or something, but Sasha Banks had Snoop Dogg singing her intro at Wrestlemania. She's not some ignored wallflower just because she isn't at the top of the storyline right now - the best pay-offs take more time than you want them to. That's why they're the best payoffs.

SS is the second biggest show of the year by a ton, and is the only other show that has Axxess and all the extra stuff you'd get at WM. SS is big.

Bryan's underdog story completely falls apart when he was heading into WM as a 3 time champ, one of which came from a completely clean win over Cena (which, off hand, I can't think of anyone besides Rock, Umaga, and HHH having a legit clean win over Cena since he became champ in 2005).

It's as if you guys feel like she needs the title now because you doubt her skill or that she needs it in order to stay over and have longevity.

We've legitimately got guys here saying Bayley will absolutely leap-frog her when she gets called up. Bayley, brehs. :comeon:

Now she's going to be out of wrestling before she turns the age of the two women she faced Sunday because she flies once a blue moon?

D-Bry got you that shook? :wow:

Fact is she's the most protected superstar in the women's division. She's cleanly pinned and submitted every member of Total Divas AND her Revolution mates. She's only a year older than Paige, brehs, with less wear and tear.

Let Chuck eat while her pops is still alive to see it. Let some booking actually happen so that an actual division with stories can be built upon, unless you just wanted Sasha, Becky, and Charlotte to run their shyt into the ground.

She wrestled a squash match Monday because her body wasn't up for anything longer after mania. I saw her at LA Fitness in December and she has to be 5'3 100 lbs. She already went like 6 weeks not wrestling this year

He was Daniel Wyatt just two months before Wm30. The reality era made it an underdog story

i would have thought this was crazy talk before, but I rewatched a lot of wwe from 98-2001 and its amazing how he survived the way they booked him. as the top Babyface he lost ALL THE TIME. I compared it to Hogan, Austin, & cena's booking at their peaks and its almost disgusting the difference in how they were booked. for example, during the build up to wrestlemania 17 Rock would be getting his ass kicked at the end of every show only for Austin to come in and save him and then stun him :mindblown:

theres a lot more you could point to as examples also

they booked HHH way better than they did Rock during that era. Rock got true top guy booking during his hollywood rock heel run and now anytime he comes back

He lost all the time because losing NEVER hurt him (even to mid carders) while it helped everyone who beat him. Also because he was the least selfish top dude of all time.

I always thought it was funny that Rock lost to a lot of mid carders with no problem at all, yet Austin didn't want to feud with anyone "beneath him". Both are 2 of my all time faves, but the Rock's stance on putting dudes over is what has always made me have him as the 1A over Austin's 1B
