i would have thought this was crazy talk before, but I rewatched a lot of wwe from 98-2001 and its amazing how he survived the way they booked him. as the top Babyface he lost ALL THE TIME. I compared it to Hogan, Austin, & cena's booking at their peaks and its almost disgusting the difference in how they were booked. for example, during the build up to wrestlemania 17 Rock would be getting his ass kicked at the end of every show only for Austin to come in and save him and then stun him :mindblown:

theres a lot more you could point to as examples also

they booked HHH way better than they did Rock during that era. Rock got true top guy booking during his hollywood rock heel run and now anytime he comes back
in the nwo vs rock/austin handicap match week before x8 they had rock take the pin from hogan, while austin was outside fighting both nwo members.

and you cant even consider rock a blakc champ when they big up his samoan shyt more, and they had a white girl as his daughter in his latest movie

please shut up with this nonsense. both sides of rock's heritage are brought up when they talked about him, his damn father and tony atlas were both part of his 1st wrestlemania story line. if they didn't "consider" rock Black, then why do they always include him in their Black history month videos?

I have no idea what that movie has to do with any of this,...

if think think his black side is pushed anywhere near his samoan side, you're fooling yourself

and the movie has EVERYTHING to do with the Rock's image. People view him either as samoan, or as the movie showed, a tanned white guy :childplease:

what you're referring to is the FACT that every Samoan wrestler comes from his family. OF COURSE that is going to be brought up. this isn't :mindblown: stuff man. if his father's side of the family had tons of famous wrestlers including like 4 or 5 on the current roster...then that would always be brought up. it still amazes me how simple yall are on this :snoop:

For someone that has "Protect Black Women" and “To be a Negro in this country and to be relatively conscious is to be in a rage almost all the time. ” ~James Baldwin in their sig, and the RBG flag colors in their avy, I would've expected you to see how much Rock's black heritage is brushed to the side in the WWE and in the general media. You seem to have as many convenient reasons/excuses for that as a Trump/Palin supporter.

I don't know if you forgot or fell asleep or something, but Sasha Banks had Snoop Dogg singing her intro at Wrestlemania. She's not some ignored wallflower just because she isn't at the top of the storyline right now - the best pay-offs take more time than you want them to. That's why they're the best payoffs.

she had her rapper cousin who already has a history with the company prior to her being there, doing her intro. WELL WHOOP-DI-DOO.

yall act like that's some sort of achievement. it was more of a no-brainer. and then she still lost on top of that.:heh:

but hey, don't mind me. keep waiting on the buttered biscuit from massuh macmahon.

his booking was so bad.

I remember the billy gunn feud leading up to summerslam '99. I remember thinking there was a legit chance that he was gonna job to billy gunn.

they wouldn't have even put gunn in a feud with Austin/Hogan/cena.

He lost all the time because losing NEVER hurt him (even to mid carders) while it helped everyone who beat him. Also because he was the least selfish top dude of all time.

so u don't think Hogan, Austin, warrior, triple h, cena, etc could afford losing?
if so, then why did they all get bigger pushes in return?

and aren't you the same on that called rock the most popular rapper ever?
why doesn't his push coincide with such?

crowd reactions says otherwise, but keep trying

I thought you were referring to this thread.

even still, most of her heat comes from her beefing with the 2 most popular female wrestlers on the roster. she doesn't get that much heat against anybody else.

exactly.

people who don't understand this, should go to a regular wrestling forum and take note of how they don't consider the rock to be a black wrestler, whenever the question of a black WWE champion is brought up.

all you doubters go head. youre only a click away.
