the fact of the matter is Pete Rock from day fukking one has always said he created the song juicy for biggie and puff stole it from him and allowed Trackmasters to produce this song which made his relationship with puff rocky due to Rock being Heavy D’s first cousin and Heavy D being one of puffs closest friends and all of them being from Mount Vernon

with that said …. defeats the purpose of this new story by this Notorious B1 character

Fam, original Biggie—- —-wasn’t rapping over a produced beat. He was rapping over the original Juicy by Mtume. So his story still doesnt contradict Puff ‘stealing Juicy from Pete Rock’—-which reminds me, i saw that vid before and it’s important to point out, Pete rock’s juicy and Puff’s juicy are not the same beat.



So what Pete means to say is Puff stole the idea to remake Mtume’s Juicy, not the actual beat.

So you actually open up a whole new can of worms, which is where did Pete Rock get the idea to remake Juicy????
