I need this album now. If I got to buy it on tape on Discogs for a lick I will.

see this is the bullshyt about these type of revisionist history stories

the fact of the matter is Pete Rock from day fukking one has always said he created the song juicy for biggie and puff stole it from him and allowed Trackmasters to produce this song which made his relationship with puff rocky due to Rock being Heavy D’s first cousin and Heavy D being one of puffs closest friends and all of them being from Mount Vernon

with that said …. defeats the purpose of this new story by this Notorious B1 character

Fam, original Biggie—- :pachaha:—-wasn’t rapping over a produced beat. He was rapping over the original Juicy by Mtume. So his story still doesnt contradict Puff ‘stealing Juicy from Pete Rock’—-which reminds me, i saw that vid before and it’s important to point out, Pete rock’s juicy and Puff’s juicy are not the same beat.

So what Pete means to say is Puff stole the idea to remake Mtume’s Juicy, not the actual beat.

So you actually open up a whole new can of worms, which is where did Pete Rock get the idea to remake Juicy???? :ohhh:

Did it come from Tilidie?!?
:pachaha:

Those were filled with (among other things) scraps from the original MATW album that Pac created pre-jail.

"My album Me Against The World was the second one. He had the first one. I changed everything 'cause Ready 2 Die came out and it sounded like my album. All my album was about, you know, dealing with death. N*gg* came out Ready 2 Die I had to switch it"

Note how "Ready 4 Whatever" is also on that album and from that period.

In before NYC cats come in talking about b-b-but Pac asked to work with Easy Mo Bee because he liked the work he did with Biggie.

Exactly.

And Mo Bee was a mercenary and working with anyone he could work with. Meanwhile, Puff’s treatment of Easy Mo Bee after BIG’s death has been weird as if Mo didn’t lace him with some absolute fire like Warning.

Is B1 still alive? Whatever happened to him?
Googled about this situation and apparently he posted this somewhere when he uploaded it on Dat Piff

"The dough boyz album was made by two Gulfport rappers Tilidie and myself, The Notorious Bigg One. (Notorious B1). Yeah I had the name and song first. I know it might be hard to believe but it is 100% the truth. We was on the radio first and in in the stores first. We sent packages to all the major Labels shopping for distribution. Just [imagine] my surprise when people started calling me saying they've just seen my video. We was trying to get the truth out back then but after B.i.g's death i decided to leave it alone out of respect. I'm not fat anymore and a lot has changed but before i leave this b*tch I want everybody to know the truth. I was the original Notorious Bigg One. #2Grams."

Seems like he’s alive, couldn’t find much other info on breh
