It was this lady that I worked with named Ms. Edna. She had a beautiful head of natural hair but always wore a wig or braids.

She told me one day that she admired that I had the confidence to wear my natural hair out wild, big, and curly.

She told me corporate america doesn't like that. They don't feel that natural hair is kempt enough.

I don't care I will always wear my natural hair out... because at the end of the day it's not about my hair, it's about how I perform as an employee.
