nikkas act like they really know me and my situation. i only give ya'll tidbits of the situations that i deal with. first of all, i didn't 'beat up' my wife. i hit her once, and it was a reflex because we were tussling for a phone, and shyt just got out of hand. no police were called (no police report), no injuries sustained (no hospital records), so no proof. so it's my word against hers. and the vegas thing, she has no idea about at all. so how is any of that going to affect me? besides, my wife and i already sat down and talked everything out, and decided to split amicably and save us both heartache and financial ruin. she makes just as much as me, so no spousal support. we have separate bank accounts/savings, so our money is already split. as far as the benz, it has a for sale sign on it right now. fukk a car. i still have my sentra, and i can easily buy another one if i wanted to. and it has been decided that my son will live with me when we split. and that house is leased (my last house was forclosed on, so i couldn't buy another one yet). my lease is up in January, so that's when we will part ways. so how did i lose again?

which is why fixing a marriage never really works. by the time a typical male can start to sense problems in a relationship its typically too late to save it. women are usually anti-confrontational so they sit back and let things fester and by the time signs begin to show from her behavior the relationship is dying from internal bleeding.

you can drag around the corpse of a dead relationship for years and women will let you do it. especially if you are filling a provider type role in their life.

i've said it before on these forums. marriage is a crap shoot. there's no amount of prep work and nothing you can really do to make it work. you can do everything right on your end and have it fail on account of the other person. you can't control them so you can't really control the direction the marriage will go in.

there's no such thing as marrying the right person either. that's just something people say in hindsight if the marriage works out but there's no way of predicting that before hand. shyt is like saying if you play the right number you'll win the lotto. what can you really do to make your number right before hand? it only becomes the right number if you play it and it wins.

dummy, i owned a house in the same neighborhood. when i lost my job and went though all the financial shyt, i lost the house and the car (the reason i have a sentra). try buying a house directly after a forclosure and watch how quick the banks your ass right out the door. we were staying at my mother in laws crib, so it was either just stay there () or lease a home until we got our weight back up. the obvious choice is to get a place of my own. the benz was a treat. that car wasn't hurting ANYTHING, so its not a problem. and i said that my house was rented in the beginning. not my fault you missed that. and i will have fun in my sentra. it's paid for.....

human relationships are fickle things in large part because they're based off emotions that aren't stable and can change in a flash. at one point you meet a person yall click and vibe the same person years down the line if yall were together in the same room you might not be able to hold a conversation with them.

the idea that because in the moment you're doing well with a person that you'd go sign a piece of paper that says if this relationship ever fails i'm gonna pay out half of my assets and all is so silly to me. that's all marriage is anymore. i promise to pay if whatever relationship you're in fails.

people talk the biblical aspects of marriage but marriage has evolved beyond its biblical origins. modern society has turned marriage into male bondage, especially with no fault divorce.

how is i that i had no wealth when i OWNED a house, had a fat ass savings account, investments, 401k, etc? explain to me exactly how do you keep all of that when you AND your wife lose your jobs? we held on for a year, but shyt, money runs out eventually. they you have to start liquidating all of those assets that you accumulated over the years. after all that was gone, i found myself in my mother in laws guest bedroom with my wife and 2 boys. nikka, i'm climbing back up to where i was and beyond. this divorce is a setback, but i'mma be straight. and stop thinking you know me breh....you only know what i tell you. and i don't tell everything........best believe i'mma be straight once all of this is said and done....
