I've said this before & I didn't like him coming out of college to be a pro. I was stunned at how well he played last year but I never came off my point of him not being a top tier QB in the NFL. I hope i'm proved wrong because I love to see a brother on the come up but I just don't see it
He's barely into his second season. With the exception of Marino and 30 year old Kurt Warner that's pretty much the best you could expect out of a guy in his first year or so. Peyton was 26 td 28 int his first year and Thomas and ARod were sitting and watching in theirs. Eli and Brees both struggled early on too. Ben won early because he had a top D and top running game but his numbers weren't setting the world on fire. You won't see too many QB's flourish as a young buck when being asked to carry as much of the load that Cam is. If he doesn't believe he's elite how is he ever gonna actually get there?

@ anything about Cam Newton being REMOTELY humble
he needs to grow up especially how the media will find a way to hate on a black qb . He got the realized this this team may not be any good right now and when the inevitable coaching changes happen in say 2 years he needs to have shown growth and become a leader in hard times . To be real he has to win at some point or he will be done with his attitude
