Breh, "gangbanging made me kill a nikka blacker than me", the whole damn album is littered with lines like this. I'll admit, sonically I fukks wit a good number of songs, but I'll be chilling, than this nikka say some shyt like that and it ruins it for me. How you gon make an album about the black experience, yet 80% of the songs is telling black people to do better?

That isn't the vibe I got from a lot of the songs.
If anything I feel the album is about his personal journey where has
to come to grips with himself and the characters he writes about.

More often than not there's self deprecation, an expressing of a lack of confidence
in oneself and then the need to reassure himself "Alright" and "i" reinforce my point.
He tells himself "I'll be alright....." and that despite my issues "I love my self..."
