Ain't heard shyt about TPAB since it came out. No hot singles. King c00nta was probably the worst Kendrick song I ever heard besides i. What say you Coli folks? Is it back to the drawing board for K Dot? At this point you'd be lying if you said his album was a success. The hype didn't even last a month.

I would compare it to one of Snoop's experimental albums. No one tryna hear that shyt. Stick to what people want to hear from you. That grimy street shyt. Save that jazzy shyt for a Roots album.

And GKMC isn't Taco Bell breh.

I'm confused why labels let him release that album with that content/direction considering he was one of the hottest rappers out. Plus when you consider that he is in the new Taylor Swift single, makes you wonder.

Its possible this was a passion project and he will go back to GKMC for this third solo.

when did i say gkmc is taco bell?
i meant like, mainstream heads listen to alotta disposable shyt and most of it is recent so they prolly already forgotten about gkmc.
so when a mainstream album like a new kendrick lp comes out and is not what theyre used to.... its hated on for being too differrent or whatever.

and i saw nothing wrong with the snoop and dam funk lp.

I was talking more about the reggae album cause no one wanted to even hear what it sounded like. When I listened to that new Kendrick I knew I was never gonna play it again. And rappers like Young Thug might be taco bell rap, but cotdamm if his songs aren't more digestible than that c00n shyt Kendrick be singing and dancing to. I feel like the only people that will like that album are university majors who go to spoken word lounges and recite poetry. He should stick to the music he makes best. That experimental shyt threw me off the K Dot bandwagon. He needs to come 100x harder next time to make me a fan again.

And I was pissed too, cause that cover looked so gangster, but you know what they say about covers.

It was a great album and will go platinum but that single "i" was indeed a flop.

If it was so great, why is no one listening to it? Why can't I find one song on there to keep in my summer playlist? No song on radio? No song in the club (King Kunta was supposed to be the big hit)? Album ain't going platinum in the US maybe worldwide, but America spat that shyt out. How you have 8 Million streams of your album in the first 24 hours and you can't sell a million copies? That's what you call a great album? The reaction to this album compared to GKMC is like night a day. People were talking about GKMC for like 1-2 years after it dropped.
