Is there a reason why one would have to announce their prior account to verify themselves or need to know about this place to go there? I’ve seen that as a check there. I just find that odd it’s majority scorned ex coli members and people I have on ignore here including a mod that’s there. If I were to join i wouldn’t use the same name I change my name on any forum I post on so people can’t track who I am. I like the mod voting option though and it is very fast

Long story short the site went down for a day without any explanation. People thought the site was officially dead but the site cameback online the following day so some posters started to create and reference other forum sites and discord chat groups if the site was to go offline again. Dapcity.com is the current alternative but if you look at the poll thread you will see some others.

It was a fake @Brooklynzson account running around that verification thread is for any poster who wants to verify that it's them posting on the new site.

One of the suggestions for the new site was verification tags not sure if the site owner will follow through but i think it was a good idea. You got trolls and AI chat bots. Being able to quickly recognize genuine posters from the fake and troll posters on the new forum would lead to better dicussions IMO.

Also older posters will remember the clone war era on here like we had a fake @Barnett114 running around @Barnett113
