Now if she was a rational or mature woman, and she was bothered about not getting a compliment, all she had to do was

1. Initiate with a compliment "hey I like your hair" or "you have a great sense of humor" and see how he responds to that. Most people usually offer a compliment back in return.

2. Ask for one. Even jokingly. "So you not gonna notice my hair?"
