comparing your bum swimmers to bolt :dead:

you havent had an athlete of bolts calibre since jesse owens, no matter what your media feeds you.

accomplished :heh: too bad bolt is way faster.

owens had no blocks and a shyt quality track. whats lewis' excuse for being so slow?

you were talking about the calibre of an athlete and then you mentioned jesse owens. suggesting that owens was bolt's calibre.

i also added lewis, because he was the calibre of owens and the best for a decade. his accomplishments not only matched owens' and bolt's, but so far he has done more.

The D (where it's so cold)
China does have a history of cheating, though. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt since it just looked like everyone was just hating on an excellent performance then I read where none of her previous races were anywhere close to her record time. I guess it's possible to have the swim of your life out of nowhere but seems a little suspect.

LONDON (AP)

The International Olympic Committee has sprung to the defense of China's teenage swim sensation Ye Shiwen, saying she passed a drug test after her world record win in the 400 medley.

IOC spokesman Mark Adams urged people to ''get real'' and said it is ''very sad'' if great performances cannot be applauded.

The 16-year-old shattered the world record in getting her gold Saturday. There has since been speculation about how she swam so fast.

Adams said: ''I think we need to get real here.''

''These are world class athletes competing at the very highest level with records being broken all over the place.''

IOC defends China's Ye Shiwen amid doping speculation, says she passed drug test

Well obviously hes done more than Bolt, Bolts only competed at 1 Olympics thus far in history and this will probably be his last Olympics too

that's why lewis was so great because of his longevity at the highest level - not only excellence in sprinting but his field event (long jump).

One more piece of evidence

Where was the allegations for the 15 year old Phelps beating the world record. He was hailed as the next prodigy.

Haters gon hate.

:usure: Except for with Phelps, Leonard said he was "consistently faster every year on a normal improvement curve."

Not saying I believe him, but her (100m freestyle) from age 15-16:

2011 4:35.15 / 2012 4:28.43

Phelps from 15-16 (200m butterfly):

2000 1:56.50 / 2001 1:54.58

never made that argument, breh.

bolt has the world record, obviously he is the fastest (ever).

however, you can be rest assured that his record will eventually go down too, just as with any other record.

it is going to be hard to beat it...only people i see it being beat is by him, or yohan blake and a slight headwind wouldnt hurt

as far as i'm aware, the term "juicing" refers to steroid use, breh - for which he was never busted.

i am aware he took stimulants (of which he was cleared by the usoc).

i mentioned it in this thread and post:

lol @you thinking i'm hiding something.

what i quoted from the wiki, which i provided, btw... was relevant to his accomplishments and it still stands (the point that i was making).

Yo, if this Chinese swimmer is doping, then what must American Allison Schmitt be on winning that race by 2 whole seconds?

We wont hear about that though, cause she is American. Believe that!!!
