I've always purchased madden, but if EA gets some competition I'll probably check them out. I'd imagine whoever else is in involved would want to come out of the gates swinging.
Personally 2K should just make a football game regardless of NFL License. Sorta like Fire Pro Wrestling.

ESPN NFL 2K5 was easily better than the Madden that came out that year. I had all my nikkas on the block copping brand new copies and shytting on Madden.
