If true, it's another example of how white men (and I suppose even some black men) hold white women up as some prize...or as a symbol of achievement.

"He's so rich/successful a white woman actually dated him"...

:stopitslime:

Thissssssss in the crux of issue with race relations in America. Its sexual and white women are the desired object.

Breh, some blacks will never get it, they believe too much into integration that they can't believe what you're saying, they drank too much kool-aid. I'm very sorry for these blacks.
Blacks?

:leostare:

some people believe there are decent human beings in the world.

And there is nothing wrong with that

Because part of it is that too many Black males, especially athletes, are too short-sighted as far as these things are concerned i.e not seeing that they're only valued for their assets. We need more Black men to be like this

to prevent that annoying sense of entitlement White women as far a Black men are concerned.

When I read the OP not once did "we as black people need to ...." cross my mind.

More like "fukk him :pacspit:"

So you didn't know this homie was a redneck long time ago:camby:

To be fair though his character is iconic and kids everywhere grew up on that character, including numerous Black kids. Even after a person matures into adulthood, and let's take it a step further......even becoming conscious, they still would hold warm feelings and fond remembrances of things from their youth. That said, I can understand why some would be disappointed, hurt even by this news. Other examples would be Bill Cosby, Pee Wee Herman, OJ Simpson, etc..
