Yes a lot of Hispanics do prize white skin.
A lot of black and brown Latinos get with lighter skinned women, even within their own culture/nationalities to whiten their bloodlines. They want white women but also whiter children.

Ric Flair whole getup was a rip off of the black man's swag. They love to imitate our mannerisms, vernacular, style and swag while at the same time hating our guts. MOST young white dudes you went to school went tend to be liberal "we all the same color", "black people are soooo cooool" in their youth, but when they hit 25

Latino women do this more than latino men though. I notice that I hardly see never a latina with a man thats darker than her in central Florida.
My guess is that in south and central Florida (I haven't been down there in several years) is that the Latinos there....are from countries that tend to be more white.
Cuba and Puerto Rico have black people but they're mostly white islands because when the slaves fought back in the Caribbean, Cuba and PR is where most of the white slave and plantation owners fled to.
Except for Brazil, Guyana and certain areas of Venezuela and Colombia, South Americans are largely white too. So those "Latinos" are less likely to harbor positive views of black people.
