This is a terrible situation. A lot of people here really have no idea what it means to even have a father. My father instilled in my early that white people hate you and will try to get you. He always used sports figures as examples since most black kids gravitate towards sports. Seeing how doug williams was treated like shyt after winning a super bowl. Seeing how albert belle and everyone was treated like shyt. Black people and black athletes will never get the benefit of doubt when it comes to just being antisocial or conscious. We all know we have to go the extra mile to even be accepted 50% of the way.

My father was the same way, he is Charlie Murphy black and he went through a lot of fukked up shyt in DR and then again once he came over here so he always went out of his way to make sure my sister and I were conscious of things going on. He wouldn't tell me white people hated me but told me to always judge them by how they act and not what they say. Something I tell my son to this day.

Here is what I don't get about the people that doesn't support this...

People complain about black people not having unity, that we don't support our own, but when something like this is trying to be put together it's "oh, what's that gonna do" type shyt

Guess what, its called a START

This can be a START of us coming together, a START of showing unity

If we could get enough people behind this, maybe we could get enough people behind boycotting the whole holiday season, saving money all together, putting our money together, establishing and supporting more black own businesses & etc

But people don't wanna even give a starting idea a chance

Breh i honestly think it comes down to the fathers. Which is why i'm 100% against black people making fun of other black people for not having fathers. Nobody is in control of that. Having a father is truly a special thing. This is why i try not to ever go back and forth with people unless you say some really flagrant shyt. It's why i said you were one of my favorite posters and @Newzz . Having a father prepares you for shyt like this, but it never takes away the sting. People don't realize this.
