Not shopping isn't any kind of solution. This stuff happens.
One thing that can be done is have the police department reflect who they're policing. This was a majority white department.
One thing you could do is read the Grand Jury Testimony. How many people posting today have even started? Here it is, almost 4800 pages:

This stuff is based on evidence.
And we've seen people get off who most people know/thought were guilty.
OJ Simpson, got off.
Casey Anthony, got off.
Again, misplaced pockets. You not shopping at Best Buy means a white officer won't shoot a black kid in the future? That doesn't make any damn sense.
Another thing that can be done that I saw somebody else mention. Body cameras on all police.
Imagine that for a second. A mainly black police department in Ferguson, all wearing body cameras. Don't you think there would be less incidents like this, with just those 2 measures alone?
